The Dallas Bears made the difficult decision to suspend TBRU™-25 and end the event prematurely in 2020 in response to the unprecedented international health crisis known as COVID-19. This decision was guided by a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of TBRU™ volunteers, Participants, and the community of Dallas as a whole. With the contagious nature of the virus and the potential risks associated with large gatherings, the Dallas Bears recognized the need to prioritize public health and take responsible action. While it was undoubtedly a challenging and disappointing choice, the temporary suspension of TBRU™ aimed to help curb the spread of the virus, protect vulnerable populations, and support global efforts to mitigate the impact of the pandemic. The Dallas Bears we elated to have TBRU™ return in 2022.
